You can but I'd give it a good coating of spray on polyurethane first to protect the finish. The cushion may get all gross if it gets moisture in it so you may want to recover it with a fabric specially designed for outdoor furniture!
Yes, Just make sure that it has a polyurethane cover on it or jsut cover it with a tarp when not in use. Also if not covered with something the cushions will need to be scotch guarded or taken in after each time.
