What brand of tools do you think are the best made?
Question:I would like to invest in a good set of tools that will last. Please explain what you like about the manufacturer or about how the tools are made. Thank you.
Answers:
Snap-On and Craftsman are two of the best you will find. They will replace any tool that breaks for free.
I own and use both. My ex has Mac tools as well. They seems to be good also.
What kind of tools?
Automotive? Electronic? Medical? Computer?
CRAFTSMAN
lifetime warranty
Craftman has kept me going for 30 years. It was the tools my dad and my friends use. Now my friends swear by Snap-on.
Diaken sux. I came to the Philippines where there are no C-man or S-on, and have to try new names. I miss my toolbox, can't wait to get back home!
Good luck!
Are you talking about ,Hand Tools? Power Tools ?Electrical tools? There are allot of different kinds, you need to be more specific on the kind of tools your referring to.
For hand tools you can never go wrong buying Craftsman marketed by Sears and also available at K-Mart now. They all have a life time warranty. Just take anything that breaks back to the store and they will replace it on the spot, free. Craftsman tools are also reasonably priced, and large mechanics sets, containing 150 or more pieces, ratchets, sockets, etc, are frequently on sale at big discounts.
Look for warranty
Craftsman are great tools, so are Snap-ons.
Husky tools from HD have a lifetime warranty as do Kobalt from Lowes.
Husky is made by Stanley
Kobalt used to be made by Snap-on but I don't know if they still are.
Craftsman because they have a life time warranty.
It is the less price that count not the quality or brand?
