Mattress Recommendation?

Question:I'm looking for a new mattress. King size, any style or type? What do you have? What brand and style? Why did you get that one? Would you recommend it? Approx. how much was it? Where did you get it from?
THANKS A MILLION! :)

I was a Navy wife for 21 years and we have moved a lot and bought and sold a lot of beds because of the moving so much. My husband has been retired for 12 years now and we've lived in our home for 15 years. I have had back trouble forever it seems and we've had every kind of bed that's out there and the bed that we have now is the bed I want to die in.
It's a California King size, pillow top mattress, (18 inches tall)Seiley posture pedic. It cost $1700 for the set originally, but being the thrifty person that I have always had to be, I only paid $200 for the set. It still had the tags on it. I found it in the classified ads and it belonged to another Navy couple that bought it for their guest room because one of the Mom's (mother in laws) was supposed to come for an extended stay but she changed her mind and they got new orders and had to move and sell some things quickly. There are some really good deals out there if you are diligent and just look for them. Like I said, this is the last bed that we will ever buy. I hope this helped.

We just bought a king size posturepedic with pillowtop from sleep country as well as 2 twins and a queen. we paid 835 for the king 525 for the queen and 159 each for the twins. talk to them about floor samples and end of the line products. Don't buy the first day you look at them, hum and haw and start to walk away they will lower the price, dicker some more then leave the store. go back in the next day or 2 then dicker some more. It sure worked for use .We got them down about 40%. I believe mattresses are cheaper in the US.
good luck

It's the most comfortable mattress I've ever had
Spring Air, I've had it so long, the store is no longer there.
Paid $600, very comfortable.
Soft but firm.
Memory foam air mattress is a very useful mattress. You can put it to many different uses. The best thing about this mattress is that it is available in different sizes, so getting the mattress of appropriate size for your bed will not be a problem. This ensures you get a great sleeping system, offering a deep sleep. If you have guests who plan to stay overnight at your house and do not have spare beds, you can easily use this mattress. All you have to do is fill up the memory foam air mattress with air and within a minute, your bed is ready.
Firm talalay latex with a wool fleece pad. Place a 1/4" x 4' x bed width wood panel over present boxspring toward foot end for more pushback support.

I would have to say Sleep number bed made by Select Comfort. I have had mine for 3 years and they have been the most comfortable years of my life. The best thing about the bed is that you and your partner can adjust each side because it's controlled by air, so it will never break down like the cheap mattresses they have been making. Now they make them non flip so when your bed get a dip on the center your stuck. Even if you have a warranty they just come down and measure it and tell you that the dip is not deep enough. The warranty for the Sleep number is great because you don't have to replace the whole bed if any piece gives on you. You just replace the exact part and who-la your done. They also have a 20 year warrantie which is great. You can find there stores almost anywhere or can go to www.selectcomfort.com. I wouldn't recommend to purchase a Select Comfort from any other store than Select Comfort itself. I have heard of a lot of bad stories. The approx price is $600-$5000 but I recommend the 5000 model which goes for $1,500 and can purchase a memory foam pad for a extra $100.
