Mold growing on side of the house?

Question:The side of the house (located in south Texas) has some mold growing outside on the wood paneling. I'd like to hear suggestions of the best way to get rid of this.

Presumably there are store products, but if there are home-made remedies (e.g bleach, etc) I'd like to hear them.

Thanks.

My house (east texas) is vinyl siding and bleach has worked very good in removing the stains and mold...the store brand products work great as well.there is also a cleaner called "Mean Green Super Strength Cleaner" and another purple colored all purpose cleaner that will work great (sorry I can't rmember the name of the purple stuff)

I had somebody tell me to put half bleach and half water in a spray bottle and spray it on it, to clean it off and stop it from coming back.
pressure washer then check for the cause. it might need some repairs. hope this helps.
A bleach/water mixture always works on mold. But I find it curious that you have mold on the South side of the house. Is it in constant shade? Normally the sun would make short work of mold. I think it is like moss that always grows on the north side of the tree. Could it be something other than mold?
Try the bleach. If it doesn't work immediately, you might have to bring in a pro.
