How can i get rid of waterbugs?
Question:I live in so. cal. and they only come out this time of the year! I need to know how i can keep them from coming inside the house. they're some crazy roaches! I tried to step on one and s.o.b. flipped me off. I can't spray them cause they just look up and smile!! I hate those critters!! plz help!!

Best thing to do is to saddle them up and charge the neighborhood kids a dollar a ride...
In Michigan waterbugs are Not Roachlike...
The ones we get can be controlled by running a dehumidifier all year long and they go somewhere else where it's damp ~ Not my house..

Not sure but you might try diatomatecous earth around the foundation of the house.
Available at swimming pool supply stores and hardware stores.
Real cheap.
Had them in a previous more swamp-like neighborhood. A bug spray called Bengal worked. Dont know if they still make it. It was the only thing that knocked them out though. good-luck !!
wellcrap has the right idea, spraying deadly chemicles is the only way.
