Escaping to the country and the seaside would be great. The west coast of Ireland - Donegal, Sligo or Mayo would be perfect. Fantastic scenery, great beaches, friendly locals. Unfortunately the price of property there has gone sky high so I'm going to need a lottery win or some rich friends to help me get there.

Did it years ago. Due to other circumstances I "got beached back in London. Trying to move out again. Where I lived before was:-1 Clevedon,Somerset,smashing.:-2 Leek,Staffordshire. Brilliant. I know I will escape, just a question of when.
My friend and I talk about doing this all the time. We would love a very old cottage in the New Forest providing it has a huge inglenook fireplace and dark wooden beams everywhere. An aga in the kitchen and I could spend all day watching the ponies and deer. That sounds perfectly heavenly to me. Then again some people might miss me on here if I did that. Hahaha!

The neighbours are all loopy and i swear to god i'm the only one under 425 years old in our village.
I would love to, but I don't drive so I have to be beside a town. Being in the country is like living next door to nature.
Live semi rural anyway ....but yes would love to live in a country cottage surrounded by fields would have a few more dogs ...oh and perhaps a few goats . Would stay in North Wales loads of small village country places near here ..
