Eww theres a nasty bug flying in my room. why do they like lights?

Question:it looks like a flying spider, and i cant kill it cuz its out of reach! its staying by the light

im scared if turn off the light it will fly on me

Answers:
You're lucky, because atleast it's a fly or something of that nature. But in my case there's a roach I'm trying to kill and I dont know how, so now I'm going to stay up late to make sure it wont crawl on my face while sleeping. In your case I recommend you turn the light off in your room and leave the door open, and in the hall turn on a light and since it loves the light it'll go into the hall. Goodluck sorry if I wasnt much help. =]

your probably looking at a bug that likes sunlight theres alot of bugs their attracted to it and if you close the light it will just try to find sunlight honestly i dont kno why they like lights
get a fly swatter and go after it !! bugs like the light one reason is because the heat that it gives off I guess they are cold blooded
i have the same problem with small moths. I turn on one of my outside lights and than turn off the inside light. The moths usually go to the outside light after a few minutes. If this doesn't work go for the insect killer!!
