I have an infestation of slugs, in my lounge! how do i get rid of them?

You can create a trap for the by taking a 2 liter bottle, laying it on it's side and cut 2 or 3 rectagular slits ( 1 inch x 1/2 inch) in a row. Pour some beer into the bottle through the slits and leave it there. The slugs will be attracted to the sugar and yeast in the beer, climb up the sides of the bottle and drown in the beer. My mom used to put these in the garden to get rid of them and it works really well.

It must be damp in your lounge. Slugs hate dry substances like salt, saw dust, sand. I know it's a bit hard to sprinkle those in your house, but they definitley hate them!

Firstly, it is strange to have slugs in your lounge. Slugs like beer. So, if you make a beer trap they fall in and drown. The slug population will hate you, but humans are not compatible for house-sharing with slugs.

contact your local council it doesn't matter if you own your home they will send the right person to clear them
put a small amount of beer in a dish the slugs climb in drink the beer and die happy at least they will all be in one place and try and find out how they are getting in and put some beer there so they will go there instead of coming in your lounge
kick them out and tell them to get a job or go and find someone else to slime around!
