What do i use for bait in a live trap to catch a ground hog?

Question:trying to catch a ground hog in live trap..what do i use for bait

I would use carrots. Where I live here in Idaho, the county used carrots to catch a bunch that had gotten into water lines. Try that, or clover or alfalfa.
