How to get rid of what appears to be flying ants, only seen in the bathroom btwn 9am and about 4pm?

uh, they are most likely termites dude - call an exterminator, quickly!
are they brown or black?? It could be termites... you don't see many flying ants in one place, I would maybe save one in a cup or something, and take to an exterminator to be identified. termites like warm, damp environments.

they get paid to be there. maybe you should try cleaning once in a while.
how many times have you seen them? do they fly around and then are there a pile of dead ones on the ground? If so they could be termites and they could be swarming. They swarm when they are dying. They come out, fly around then hit the floor. I would call a pest control company to come out. If they are not termites I am not sure what else looks like a flying ant.
I had the Flying Ants in an Outside Building and I called an Exterminator. He said they were "Termites". You really need to have your home treated for Termites. If you cannot afford it, buy yourself a Hand held Sprayer and Termite Control from Lowes and spray your own home. I Spray my Home every year (Spring) normally to prevent Termites and other Insects from destroying my Property.
I think they're termites, they can fly and they look like flying ants LOL. Termites target eating the wood structure of your house, they swarm once or twice every year, the only ways to get rid of them is to either Tent your house which costs thousands of dollars to do or to buy bug spray at the Dollar Store and to spray your whole house.
Hint: DO NOT BREATH IN YOUR MOUTH
You'll inhale the fumes from the poison in the bug spray ;)
