where are you? we sell two different types of artificial grass,sold on a roll just cut off as much as you need per metre!! cheapest is £21 per M

If you're lucky enough to still have a green grocer in your area you could ask them - they often have it as decoration
I have seen it in stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's. it comes on a big roll and they cut off how much you need.
