Green bell peppers/after blooms fall black seed left why?

Question:the plants had purple blooms when they fell off i was left with a black pod why

Answers:
Hum.. did you move the plant recently? It may not be getting enough sun or it needs a little bone meal

But most times, what happens is you don't have pollinators in the area and the flower was not fertilized, so it dropped sterile.

Try helping nature with a Q-tip next time you have them in bloom
