I need a cheap, fast way to divide my fenced in area in two.?
Question:I have 3 foster dogs coming and I can't have them interacting with my dogs initially. These would be medium size dogs. Thanks.

I assume that this is for a temporary isolation and you will eventually introduce them to play with one another. You should go to a home improvement store and get some snow fence (it is usually the orange temporary fencing for winter time). You could use the metal garden or farm stakes that are about 4' long when driven into the ground and just tie the snow fence onto the stakes. The fencing will be much taller than the dogs and unless they are high drive dogs they will not jump over it. It should take less then a couple hours to install and secure it and removal is very easy with little to no damage to your yard. The only down side is the ugly orange fencing you will have in your yard for a while. This will be a very inexpensive alternative to renting a fence and you could always store it for later or sell it to someone else when you're finished with it.
Since you probably will not want them divided forever, you should try using a company that you can rent a fence from. They will set it up for you and when you are ready for your yard to be whole again they will take it back. I had friends who did this on a military base to provide a place for their labs.
Measure lenghth...go to lumber yard and buy some fence for ducks or chickens...would work for a fast temp fence.
Wire fencing isn't too expensive, should be strong enough for a temporary situation and not difficult to install. And when you no longer need it and can roll it up and store it utnil you might need it again.
I do not think chicken coop wire would be strong enough to keep the dogs apart.
