I am going to try 1 more time to get info on growing tomatoes?
Question:Before I ask ,I was talking to my son about this and he said that weed was refered to as hydro.
That said I want to grow tomatoes,,do you here me ,,tomatoes.
I want to put them in a pvc drain pipe and run water thru the pipe.
What my question is what do I put in the water?
Dont tell me water rich in nutrients,,I know that ,,what chemicals or addittives do I need and how do I measure the amount in the water?

It is very popular nowadays to grow tomatoes by hydroponics. It is more economical. You have to add nutrients in the running water.

its more usual to use a sterile growing material like perlite and flood that with a feed solution. You can use a very dilute plant food like miricle-grow or other and there are special hydroponic solutions. Dont let the roots sit in the water. Flood the tube and let it drain . Do that twice a day.
The main thing is not to overfeed or the plant grows very quickly but with little strength.
