Why did the mouse in my house squeak very loud when I cornered him and started hitting him with a broom?

Question:

Answers:
what is the matter with you?!?!?!?!?!

probably did not like what was happening to him, maybe knew he was going to die a horrible death
because you were hurting it. they make that sound when they are being attacked by other animals as well.
em? nah...
On my opinion I think the mouse already knew his/her fate and how he/she is going to end-up. If you look at the mouse's perspective and you put yourself in the place of the mouse you will feel the same way and scream like you've never screamed before. You will see a person a hundred times your size and you have nowhere to go and the person is holding a weapon that is maybe 20 times your size. I think that sums it up. Hope this helps.
My guess is that he resented your behavior and wanted to let you know.
That squeak was mouse language.
He was probably telling all the other mice to attack you tonight while you are sleeping.
I think he was laughing because you kept missing..its a way to scare away enemies.i guess he could squeek harder ...
what kind of noise would you make in the same circumstances? He was in pain...scared..
He was saying "thanks for the migrane!"
