Can u plant a hisbiscus in the ground?

Question:

Answers:
Yes, ours is planted outside. It came up again this Spring after the Winter snows. We cut it down to about 3 inches before fall. You may want to check & see if it's one that can survive temperate conditions because I'm sure there are ones that are just for warm places.

Yes, but depending on where you live, you might have to dig it out in the fall and bring it indoors. The ornamental variety is not frost resistant. If it was bought as a house plant, then you can be pretty sure that it will die in the winter if not brought inside.
Absolutely, they grow quite well in the ground. Although, if you live in a cold climate, they won't last through the winter.
Yes, you may plant hibiscus in the ground in the South --not sure where you live.. But in the South it will die back at the first frost, These are beautiful flowers, but usually only live through the Summer months-Some people take them inside for the winter and care for them until Spring and warm weather again. i have never had any luck with them except -- beautiful blooms in the Summer months.Enjoy them while the weather is nice-
