What is the best way to get rid of Morning Glory?

vinegar kills lots of weeds but it doesn't seem to work on morning glory...I've been using a 3' bamboo stake to untangle the new vines off of things and as a plowing tool to uproot vines growing close to the good plants they are trying to strangle. With larger plants being attacked, I placed landscape fabric around the base of the plant to keep them at bay..good luck.

A total vegetation killer. That is all I found to work over the long run.
I tried and got rid of most of it.I picked it when it came up and cut the seed pods off but then when I couldn't get ahead of it in one garden I gave in to it and put up a trellis.Oh well they are pretty and I also moved other flowers so the wouldn't choked off by them.
