When is the best month to plant lily of the valley.?

Question:I've been thinking of planting some. I love the smell of the tiny flower. And can I buy it in seed form or do I need the root? I'm not a gardener just love the flower.

Answers:
It's usually best to plant lily-of-the-valley in the spring. Normally, they are sold in bulb form, which will give better results than seed. This is especially true in the first year.
