I found a bug in my closet... what could this be?!?!?

Question:My closet is very messy with a ton of junk in it. I have garbage bags filled with old clothes, books, toys... and a bunch of old clothes are just piled everywhere. Yesterday I attempted to clean my closet out. I pulled out a garbage bag from the bottom filled with books and paper (which was kind of smushed, the garbage bag, not the paper) and I two bugs inside of it. They were long and narrow and moved very fast. No wings. I'm worried that I have a whole group of bugs living in my closet. I don't even see how they could have gotten in that garbage bag. Do you think they're just pesty bugs that are now dead or do you think that a whole bunch of them are there? I'm scared to look, lol.

Answers:
Its probably just two bugs. You should look deeper into your closet, and see if there's more bugs. If there's like a nest you should call an exterminator. And maybe clean it every so often, because that would help A LOT.

THATS GROOOOOSSSSSSSSSSS!!
Just kill them!
Get in there and clean your closet. Take your vacuum with you and vacuum up any more buggys that you see. When it's all clean vacuum thoroughly!! Messy spaces attract bugs!
sounds like millepede's and id say where there is one there are many more...you may wanna call a pest person to come fix that
i think they are just some pesty bugs that are probalby dead now.the bugs probalby just got in your room and then in your closet when you opened it.dont worry and dont be scared.
hehe, ok well clean it out really fast or empty it out. Then call an exterminator. Dont worry about it! bye! good luck!

What color were they? How long were they? Did they have pronounced antennae?

Based on your description they might be silverfish (which feed on paper). If you visit your local hardware store, you can get little packets which are made for eradicating silverfish.

If they are black, about an inch long and resemble a cockroach, they might be water bugs.

Another thing for getting rid of bugs (particularly roaches) is 20 Mule Team Borax, also available at most hardware stores.
I know exactly what bugs you are talking about but I don't know what they are. I have found a few of them in my house, and they seem harmless. I doubt they are all over your closet, and I wouldn't be too worried about it, but I do suggest you clean your closet out and get it organised!
If you really want to know what type of bugs they are then maybe you should show them to a bug man!
I wouldn't worry about them taking over your closet. It's probably just a normal house bug that everyone has!
Where gloves and finish cleaning your closet. Could be **** roaches
They're most likely silverfish. Look at the picture in the source link and see if they match. Where you have stacks of books and paper, you will have silverfish.
I say silverfish, and if they are, you better believe you have more.

Dangit. One beat me to the punch! :)
Just adding another vote for silverfish. Yuck!
More than likely silverfish. They are narrow, silver (go figure), wingless, and quite fast. They like to eat starchy material (such as paper). Being that you found them in a sack, probably in a dark place, I would say silverfish.
