Any suggestions for getting rid of earwigs in the house?

This is strange, but earwigs are reaaaally attracted to beer. Place saucers (pie plates are good) of beer around the house where the problem is at its worst, and they'll drown. Also, place some of the saucers in the garden and on the porch to catch them before they get into the house.
