What will happen if I planted my bulbs upside down?
Question:I was planting bulbs in my garden today and followed the instructions (this was my first time). However, I had a difficult time finding the “point” on some of the bulbs – which you were supposed to plant upright…. What will happen if I planted them upside down? Additionally, if you have any tips about planting bulbs (renunculas, anemones, and callas, specifically in this case…), feel free to share those as well. Thanks!

Don't worry about it, bulbs can turn themselves around. If in doubt plant the bulb on it's side. It will grow toward the light. From an experienced gardener. Lorraine
I think the plant would find its way to to the surface of the soil and sprout into a plant no matter what way you plant it. (Just a guess, Im not sure)
they won't come up and in the water/rain they will rot.
plants follow a method called tropism. This means that they have some natural instinct for their roots to dig into the soil even if they are upsided down (it is probably based on the effect of gravity).
As for the upside down ones, nothing will happen. Absolutely nothing. To help your bulbs grow add some Bulb Booster when planting . Also if you keep them in the bottom drawer of the refrigerator for two week before you plant them, will make them think they'd just went through winter, which is what they need. Bye Oh keep them well watered. There planted deep so let the water seep in for awhile.Bye again
