How to move in a couch that is bigger than the Door?

Question:I just bought a couch that is really good, but my apartment door might not quite fit it. Here is the challenge, fit a couch sized 32" deep, 34" high, and 60" long through a door that is 30" wide and 70" high.

Added Problem: Only 32" width of hallway to workwith.

Answers:
Stand it up on end if it is only 60" long and put the seat part through the door first and spinthe couch as you enter.

Do you have a fire escape and a large window?
Try doing it at an angle. Put the couch on the floor, tip it 45 degrees and try it.
Check the feet on the couch. Many screw in, so if you can remove them it might just give you the clearance you need.
take it back & exchange it for a futon...that's what we had to do...good luck!
Another trick is to take the door off its hinges & you have another inch or so to work with.
I you can't do that, try "walking" the couch thru the door sort of on its end, first the seat part & then the backrest part.
You're gonna need several strong friends (who will probably want FED afterwards!)
