What is the better building material timber or brick? and why?

Question:or if there are anyothers please let me know thanks heaps : )

Answers:
Brick, because the wolf huffed and he puffed and he couldn't blow it down!!

Brick is built over timber. The house is framed out and then covered with plywood. Brick or another finish is then put on the outside of the plywood. There is also vinyl siding, stucco, cedar, ect. ect. the list goes on.
Brick homes sell faster.
Through-brick construction is the most structurally sound with little upkeep required. But, it doesn't have the insulation value potential of the skin-brick over wood frame construction mentioned above.
