Does anyone know how to make an ant trap?

Question:I know that chalk, cinnoman, and paprika will keep them out of the house.
I want to keep them out, but I also want the ones in my house to DIE!

Answers:
Ant Traps

Ingredients:

1/2 cup molasses or honey
6 Tbs. sugar
6 Tbs. active, dry yeast

Preparation:

Mix ingredients and place in bottle caps throughout the house. This will kill ants.

Ant Bait

Ingredients:

3-1/2 oz. strawberry jam
1-1/2 Tbs. wet, canned cat food
1 Tbs. boric acid

Preparation:

Mix ingredients and roll into small balls, then place throughout the house. This will kill larger ants and termites. Although not poisonous, if ingested by an animal or small child, it could make them sick, so always use caution

Boric acid.

Buy it at a drug store and mix it with greasy & sweet things the ants will eat. I've mixed it with peanut butter & jelly or crushed nuts. I take a handful of mixed nuts and crush them to a coarse powder, mix in some boric acid and then place it where the ants are. Seems to work better than some ant traps I've purchased.

Don't leave the mixture anywhere that a child or pet will mess with it as boric acid is poisonous. The small amounts won't kill a large pet or child but you still want to be safe.
powdered borax and caster sugar mix 50-50
that should get them
