How do attract ladybugs to the garden?

I really don't know how to attract them, but you can always find a pet store in your area or the garden department of a home improvement store (home depot for example), or a nursery and you can buy a bag of ladybugs for cheap.
You do nothing they come if the want to.
I'm not sure, but I met a man who would search out a place where there were ladybird beetles and would catch them there, bag them and take them back to his garden. I also noticed today that as I moved the compost in my bins, there were dozens of the beetles in the bins, as if they were laying eggs in there or something. Good luck!
