Question:
Answers:
to kill the tree, strip the bark comletely off the tree in about a 2 inch circle. the tree will eventually die. To use a chemical, use roundup. It will completely kill the tree and roots
Ah! Don't use gasoline! It (a) won't work and (b) gasoline is dangerous and poisonous. Cut the thing down and alleviate it of any new growth that appears. It just will not continue to grow (for very long) without leaves. The leaves are where the photosynthesizing takes place and the tree can't live without it . Beyond that, cutting it down is just the plain old "right thing to do"
Don't "water" it with gas.
#1 It's illegal
#2 You could easily pollute the ground water.
#3 You could accidentally start a fire.
The right way-
Cut down the tree.
Have the stumped pulled out and fill the hole.
depending on the type of tree you can use vinegar or bleach on. just be careful of any type of plants around it , could also die.
