Are there any poisonous ladybugs? or bugs that resemble ladybugs thst are poisonous?
Question:
Answers:
all ladybird beetles (lady bugs) are capable of biting. However, NONE of them are poisonous. The only thing a ladybug has that is remotely close to poison is digestive enzymes that it secretes when it gives a bite. They bite their prey.. mainly aphids, with piercing carnivorous mandibles and literally inject digestive enzymes, and suck the haemolymph (guts/blood) right out of the aphid. THEY ARE NOT POISONOUS!! The ladybug that is often talked about now is the Multi-Colored-Asian Ladybird beetle (Harmonia axyridis). The best way to identify them is to look at their 2nd perceivable segment... known as their notum. It is usually white with black markings that resemble a "W" or "M" depending on how you look at it. They are voracious predators on aphids, but they also feed on grapes and other random foods that other ladybugs would never touch. They also bite more frequently, and quite hard. It hurts!

“I suspect the reason people are so shocked,” she continues, “isn't that they got nipped (a minor insult compared to the bites of most other insects), but that it was the famously friendly ladybug of song and legend that did the nipping
Are ladybugs poisonous?
No. Ladybugs are not poisonous to humans. However, they can have toxic effects on some animals. Ladybugs have a foul odor which deters some predators from eating them and their bright colors also help as a deterrent. In nature, red and orange, are warning colors that indicate to another animal or insect that the potential "lunch item" might not be a good choice
lady bugs are poisonous, but can't bite. a beetle is the only other thing I can think of that resembles a lady bug, not sure if any of them are poisonous or not. But a lady bug and granddaddy longleg spider are very poisonous, but can't bite you.
