How can I get rid of groundhogs in my back yard without hurting them?
Question:They eat everything in my garden!

Live Trap and transplant them.
Otherwise, I would not worry about 'hurting' them, they're just a pest and a varmint, shoot them.
the tractor supply store sells a wirly thing you stick in the ground and it makes a noise that drives them away . . people can't hear it. .
We had this problem--they moved right in under our porch! We tried fencing off the entrance, using mothballs. The only way we could KEEP them away was to borrow a friend's dog!
They
don't like noise. You might try beating on some pots and
pans near there dens at times you think there at home.
They make really good Bar-B-Que thats referred to as a
"whistling pig"
