Does anyone know where I can dump a bunch of trash/old toys/boxes/etc?

That really depends on where you live. Some places have trash collection controlled by the city, and some places have independent companies. Call whomever collects your trash and see if you can take your own load to the city dump or landfill. Where I live, the city is in control of our trash pickup, and they have a program where they pick up large trash once a month, and it's free.

If you don't want to pay extra, you can just fill up your trash can every time with as much as trash as possible, until it's all gone. This also depends on how much trash you really have.
