Questions to extremely enviromentally friendly people.?
Question:I'm trying to find environmentally friendly lubricants and cleaners around the house. I thought it was environmentally ok to use mineral oil as a paper shredder oil. I just found out that Mineral oil is made by petroleum by-products.
At the moment I'm making a list of what things I can use around my house.. can you please add to my list? I'll start.
-Paper Shredder Lubrication: Vegetable Oil

I do applaud you! Using vegetable oil may create a problem though. It may attract bugs and it will collect and contain dust particles which will be very difficult to remove. It tends to turn into a sticky residue. I will be checking back to see what others have suggested!
I have heard of oil of jojoba however I dont know were to get it. But jojoba plants are native in most parts of the US so ill see how its made.
I am environmentally friendly and all I know now for certain is that all is lost if population growth is not fixed now. the planet can only sustain a fixed number of humans and we have reached that limit. any good you do will be offset by pop. growth in ten years. check out a world population graph from 1900 to present.
