I LOVE THE IDEA! For bamboo to be lucky, you have to have 3 twigs of it and it HAS to be given as a gift! And another great thing about bamboo is that it's soooo easy to care for! Definitely get the bamboo... just take care in choosing a pot that matches the decor of your friend's home... Like don't buy it in a purple pot if your friend hates purple!
