You can buy poison from Walmart. Or smoke bombs from the hardware store that you light and put in the hole. In some states it is legal to buy mole traps that catch and kill the moles.
Go to Home Depot's lawn and garden department. They have several successful solutions.
Believe it or not place exlax (the chocolate kind) throughout your garden, or cayenne powder. The exlax when they eat it makes them learn their lesson and the cayenne powder burns their tongue (not physically) so they wont come back/

We have moles and I have done extensive research on the problem. The only thing that really works are traps. The other suggestions only get them to move to another part of the lawn. We had a dog that loved to dig them up and eat them. That worked too, but left holes!
