Noisy neighbours! What should I do!?
Question:Living in a council flat with fairly thin walls. My bedroom wall is next to new neighbours wall and me and my sister can always here them having sex! If it was once in a blue moon it wouldnt be such a problem but when were trying to sleep all we can hera is them and there quite loud! what should I do?
Answers:
1) throw a huge loud party
2) watch pornos all night at full volume
3) go knock on their door, then proceed to beat the crap out of one or both of them
4) find out what kind of music they hate and crank that ish up.
5) kick the dude in the balls
Or you can ask them politely to tone it down..but the first 5 options are more fun.

Be in competition with them, bring your b/f or g/f over and show your neighbors your better at them having sex! Do it for America!!
That is a toughie, I would say go talk to them but that might not be that safe. Move to another apartment?
The next time they do it, bang on the walls and tell them to shut up, most likely one of them will be embarrassed wnough to stop.
i reckon that you should go next dorr and just ex-plain to them your situation and discuss what you should do. mabey they dont know that they are being noisey they will be awere of it
when you think they are trying to sleep make as much noise as possible and keep them awake they will soon get the hint!
Leave a note, you don't have to sign it or anything. I did that to one of my neighbors in my apt complex. It was pretty bad. I just let them know that it was a little loud and politely said that if they didn't be a bit quiter at least, that I would let mgmt know. It's pretty simple. Leases clearly state about noise complaints.
Can you approach them and suggest that they keep it down (the noise I mean...)
Otherwise, give them a taste of their own medicine...you dont have to be ACTUALLY doing it, you can just make lots of noises and pretend you are doing it.
ask them to quite down.tell them that you are not interested in their sexual life,or if that does not work put on a good porno film and blast the sound to the max and give them a little of what they have given to you
if you are in an apartment you could mention the noise to the owner. Otherwise get sleep tapes and use earphones. Since people move so often anymore (even in houses), bear with it and use earplugs, play music or study tapes or line that wall with an entertainment center with books. And if all else fails start a rumor with one of the neighbors about the other one cheating, they will fight and move out. (but you'll have to put up with the fighting for a while).I'm joking, of course.
I have the same problem except for the fact that I have two neighbors to worry about. I have a neighbor upstairs and a neighbor down stairs and they never seem to care when I yell...so that doesn't help to yell. I basically wrote a note asking them to please keep it down and to be considerate of others and the noises stopped for a month but things went back to the same thing. So now I sleep with a fan on and it helps block the noise when I am sleeping. You could move but I guess living in a big city where ever you go there's always going to be a noise problem since most buildings are old.

That's what I did to my neighbours and haven't heard a peep out of them sex wise since. They'll probably be embarrassed and stop, unless they get off on being heard. You can also complain to the Council
Unfortunately so much banging and sawing re: home improvment has been going on with my bloody neighbours for the last 3 months I am starting to think they are constucting Noah' s Ark up there. But at least the sex noise has stopped!
HAVE A CHAT WITH THEM ABOUT HOW THIN THE WALLS ARE, IF THAT DOES NOT WORK TALK TO THE COUNCIL, MAYBE PUT IN FOR AN EXCHANGE.
totally try talking to them first, even if they get off on being heard, they migh tbe embarrassed enough that you had the guts to mention it that they might stop. always approach people first!
If that doesn't work, report them to the council, there are laws against noise pollution

Record the noise. Then, with a speaker fixed to the wall facing the wall, but noise insulated on your side (eggboxes etc) play it back to them at full bore...
