What is better rain bird or hunter sprinkler heads?

It depends on the model. Hunter I-20 and I-20 ss are the sturdiest, then the rainbird 5000, then the Hunter PGP. I wouldn't use any other model of residential rotating heads from either company. The spray heads from both companies are good. I have seen many I-20 ss that have been run over by cars and parked on and worked fine. I have been installing and servicing sprinkler systems for 11 years.
