What is the best weed killer looking for one that stops more coming back so quick?
Question:weeds come up quicker than flowers so I looking for something that will keep the weeds down for a few months

nothings fool proof but somthing with phosphorate in is good. or buy it neat and dilute to your specification.

Use a systemic weed killer it kills the roots as well theres not much you can do about seeds that blow about in the air except to pull any weed you see before they flower. good luck.

I agree with some of the above particulally a systemic killer, (as opposed to a contact killer) systemic goes through the roots (the system) so if kills the plant/weed.
Another option is the nuclear warhead of the weed killer world, let me introduce you to Sodium Chlorate.
This will kill anything and everything but there are a few things you need to be aware of, mainly that this stuff is very dangerous to cats, dogs and even you.
It works so well it kills the weeds and anything else it touches, it will also mean you'll not be able to grow anything in that soil for months.
Great for drives, paths and really bad areas where you want to nuke everything.

You can buy it through garden centres, diy stores, etc and it comes as white crystals you mix with water, just be 100% sure it will never be touched by children, get up high or locked away.
try using armillotox its really good for paths and patios but please dint put it near any plants you want to keep as it is very strong but this lasts for a good while but dint forget most weeds are from air Born seeds so you will always get new ones
My husband uses ORTHO WEED-B-GON you have to mix it yourself and buy a pump sprayer but it works great and is long lasting. He uses it on weeds in the yard as well as weeds/grass that come up between the cracks of the bricks we have laid. Be careful with it though it does kill anything and that includes grass so dont go spraying it like your fertilizing your yard or anything. For the price you cant beat it plus you end up with way more since you have to mix it yourself then you would if you bought a premixed solution in a bottle with the sprayer attached
Go with a systemic total weed killer called Barren or Turf King.
They will kill all vegetation and keep it down for up to a year.
You must saturate the ground to get the residual effect.

Any weed killer that contains Glysophate will do the trick, read the label first, available in most garden stores, Sodium clorate will do as well but it has some fire hazards and is explosive under certain conditions.
