I'm planning on organizing/cleaning my room this Memorial Day weekend. Got any tips or suggestions?
Question:I'm doing some late spring cleaning, but I'm not quite sure where to start. I'll admit I'm not the most organized human being, but cleaning my room would still be manageble. Any suggestions for organization? Should I do it section by section, or just pile all my junk in the middle of my room and organize it? Thanks much.

Start with the messyist part of your room and organize it into piles such as keep, get rid of, trash, need moved. Make sure you keep the piles seperate. When everything is in a pile then you can move onto the next messyist location and do the same thing. Once you have cleaned everything in the room start with throwing away all the trash, dotnt want it getting in the way, and also take anything that you want to get rid of and gather it in a box or bag and move it to somewhere you can pick it up later and take it to a donation place. Next take the pile(s) that have stuff in them that need to be moved to a diffrent location and move the items to the locations where they should be. Now all that is left is the piles that need to be put away, start with the largest pile and work your way to the smallest. You have finished organizing your room! Now all you have to do is clean off any surfaces of dust, vaccume or sweep, clean any mirrors or glass surfaces, and make the bed!
Number one if you do not use it or touch it daily toss it.
number two if you consider it junk or excess toss it.
I plan on doing the same thing this weekend. My system is to have an inspiration. I don't get to put the new quilt and sheets on the bed until I clean and move the furniture around. I usually clean one section at a time. But then I get distracted and start several different projects at the same time and get overwhelmed. Oh well!
