Maybe you could contact the Hanes website and ask for information. I do remember them and I'm sure that my mom still has some of those eggs left over from when me and my sisters were younger. They were very popular to save and reuse at Easter time. I remember them being gold and silver colored. Let me just say that I'm sure that I'm too young to remember them! :)
