My potted plants have got infected by snails..what can i do? pls help!?
Question:the snails eat away the roots and the plants die..this monsoon they are back & i am rly afraid..they are small in size and are pale yellow near the head & the rest of the body is brown in colour..
they were not seen for some years in my plants & yet are back now..how do they make their way to potted plants?! really villainous..

Yes, these little guys are quite nasty, ugh! I get them on my deck and driveway at times, and a quick dash of salt curls them up very quickly. Regarding your plants, I found this info out. Do hope it helps you.
Finely ground hot pepper, cedar and natural diatomaceous earth has always worked well for snail removal, but the product Sluggo is acceptable in an organic program and seems to be quite effective. Nothing to mix if you choose that route.

You could try the granules used to kill snails. I don't know if this is available where you live though. If your plants are in pots maybe you could put them up where they cannot be reached by the snails.
get a beer and pour it in a small plate.They will at least die happy :)
Sprinkle salt or epsom salt around your plant, not on your plant. This is also a boost for your plants. IT WORKS!!
get some slugbait . but it's poison keep the dog away
