In Florida I just saw a large plastic bag hanging over the entrance. Supposed to keep flys and bugs out.??

Question:Party going on with the doors constantly opening and there were plastic zip lock bags hanging from the doorways. It was to repell the flys and such, could there be any truth to this?

Answers:
Its funny you ask that cause a family member told me about it and ive tried it and tadaaaa its really worked wonders you wouldnt belive.. zip lock baggie with a single penny in it filled three quarters full of water and no flies or reduced so much you'd be amazed. I had a friend that didnt think it was true and to prove me wrong tried it and actually yesterday appolgized to me saying she couldnt belive how effective it really is... so give it a try for yourself and see the difference you can even hang them outside on your patio or deck area. good luck

Yes, those bags are there to repell the flys and other flying insects. They actually work. You can also hang them around the edge of your patio or porch cover.
yes, as strange as it may seem, it is true. dont really understand how, but it works!! i know it sounds crazy, but i've seen it for myself.
Yes ! And it actually works ! We use this camping all the time.I also have a regular plastic wasp with water hanging by my porch and that works also have not had any all spring and Summer.
