Best air freshener for a smoky flat?
Question:My neighbour has issues with the smell of smoke coming into her flat from mine. Any decent air fresheners that can stop the haze rising?

Take no notice of the anti smokers who really annoy me - in the UK, we won't be able to smoke in public from next month, trying to stop us in our homes as well is a bloody cheek! ;o)
Oust is good, or I just find open the windows for a while and get a cheap oil burner for about £2 from any big supermarket. You can also get the scented oil there for again, around £2. Just add a few drops to the plate mixed with water and add a lit tea light underneath. Once the water evaporates you can smell the oil, and it tends to spread around a lot better than those rubbish amb-pur plugins, where the scent only seems to hover by the socket!
Oust is really good. My mum smokes and sometimes it comes into my part of the house so I use oust.
Guess stopping smoking is not an option? :0)
You need a full blown air cleaner like they have in bars.

Dep has a product call Smoke Eliminator, sold at Home depot, it is awesome, I spray it and my non-smoking friends think I quit. its that good, try it you won't be disappointed.
simple stop smoking,or smoke outside,i just visited a friend i havent been to her place for ages her and her partner smoke like chimneys,i could not belive the stench of smoke and the yellow walls,omg i couldnt wait to get home to my lovely fresh non smoking house

Ref Oust! it's an air freshner yer plonker, not a breath freshner.
febreze is good, if the smell is really bad try having your carpets deep cleaned.
Apart from trying air fresheners have u tried ?
Scented candles
Oil burner oils OR
Incense sticks.
Strong fragrance ones should do the trick.
if the smoke from your cigarette in your flat is getting into your neighbours flat there is something seriously wrong with the construction of your flats. i think she must be making it up just to annoy you, have you upset your neighbour?
