Laundry drying tree?

Question:I just got a laundry drying tree, you know the kind that is on a pole and has 4 or 5 arms coming out that fold up? Anyways if you caught me I was wondering how I can stabilize it without putting it in the ground. Does anyone have any good idea's?

Answers:
use a patio umbrella stand.

you sort of have to put it in the ground...but you could cheat and cement a slightly larger short pipe into the ground (could be even with the ground level) and slide your laungry tree into the pipe when you use it.
oh.don't let any cement get into the short pipe's opening so the pole fits inside lol.
