How to get the fuzzies off 100% cotton towels?

Question:I just bought these towels from Target and they were pretty expensive, I washed them all once then after my shower I used one of them and all the little fuzz stuff is coming off on my skin ALL OVER and It's really beyond annoying. I put them away in my closet and havn't used them since. How do I get the towel to stop doing that?

Most towels will do this for about 4-7 washings. Even the good ones, and it is truly annoying! The fuzz comes from the short little fibers that didn't get combed out in the cotton-combing process. Just keep washing them and they will get better. Also don't use liquid fabric softener. They will coat your towels with softness, but will make them fuzz worse. It will also make your towels stop absorbing water over time.
