What does "shower on taps" mean?
Question:In online ads for real estate in the UK, I keep seeing the phrase "shower on taps." Does this just mean a regular shower? Or is it saying that the shower is above the bath tub...?
Answers:
shower on taps means that there is a shower head with a pipe that splits off into two ends. each of these two ends has a rubber sleeve that pushes over the spout of the taps. you adjust the rate of flow in each of the taps to reach the temperature required
Your usual taps with a lever at the front to direct the flow to a shower head. This usually means standing in the tub to shower, curtain or glass partition along side of the bath.
A lever on the bath taps allows the water to be diverted to a shower head above the bath.
This means that your bathtub has an attachment that is part of the taps. It usually has a rest above the bathtaps. You have to get in the bath to shower.
Shower on taps means a plastic hose with a shower head attached to the bath taps - not ideal but kinda does the job.
