Which is better for a Gas BBQ?
Question:Butane or Propane??
I have always used butane but my BBQ has come with the Patio Gas Propane connection, is this just a scam to get you to spend more money on a new tank?

There is a difference in the energy content of Butane and Propane, and if your grill has burners designed for Propane, using Butane will impact it's performance.but it's only a barbecue. As long as you use it outdoors only, it won't make a lot of difference other than perhaps a slight reduction in the lifetime of the burner.

Throw it away and get a proper BBQ. How dare you use gas you blasphemer.
In the beginning was the word and the word was Charcoal(or briquettes) not Gas.
Besides it makes the food taste better.
