How do I find a hole in an above ground pool??

Question:Hi, I have asked this before and had some excellent answers but all seemed to include food dye. I tried that last night and unfortunately, it didnt work :-( Is there any other way to find a leak in an above ground pool, whilst it is up with water in it?

Many Thanks in advance :-)

Answers:
Ok, what you do is go into your pool very gently. Walk around the pool starting from the outer edges working slowly inwards to the center. Feel for a soft spot. Mushy feeling.
When you feel a mushy spot, that is probably where the hole is. It can also be on the wall, so check where ever you stop and track back to the wall.
Also, check walls. But you need to not make too many waves in the pool. It is harder to see.
Yes, food dye works best. Get a syringe, like the type you get a drug store to administer liquid medicine to a child. Ask them.
Go under with goggles and squeeze the dye out. The hole will suck the dye into the hole.
That is about the only way to do it.
Been there, done that, 8 tiny little holes in our liner.
Word of advice, make sure no one brings in any sharp objects or plastic toys in the pool.
Check toe nails, they can cause holes too.

look for water leaking out of it
