Hi, go to the library and ask for a book called fortunes and formula. You may only be able to find it in a reference section on design and engineering. You could try you granddads book shelf. I found a copy in my father. It has long since disappeared in one of my mothers tiding up sessions but it is worth looking out for in second hand book shops. The formulae range from Toothpaste to thing for cutting and chopping veg's automaticall.
flour and water is good but even better if you stick it in the microwave for thirty seconds or so
The gum on stamps and envelopes and such like used to be made from dead horses hooves and donkeys queerthings. They were all boiled up at the glue works and boy, did it stink. I don't know if thats still how it is produced but to think, we used to lick that stuff.
