How can I get rid of the spindly spiders with the long thin legs?
Question:I seem to have a flat full of them and loads of nasty cobwebs - any ideas on a way to get rid of them?

Spiders come out of lofts cupboards and dark corners. they will invade rooms in the dark and make their webs. The only thing I can think of is to destroy their webs and leave a light on.
pick em up and take em outside, they won't hurt you, but then you will be overrun with flies.
I like to keep them around myself. My house is full of them, but none of those flying little bastards. Good tradeoff in my opinion. How come we're allowed to say bastards now? Anywho, keep them, they're deadly.
I would prefer to keep spiders during the Summer than have flies buzzing everywhere and spreading germs.but take a glass jar...jam jar type and put the jar over the spider on the wall.slide a piece of card in between the wall and the spider and your jar is then covered enough to take your spider as far away as you want to deposit it somewhere else (preferably in the garden of the neighbours from hell when they are not looking)

Get bug bombs.
Make sure if you have any pets that you put them outside, set several of them off - wait a couple of hours to go back - then air out the flat really well, and wipe down your counters and stuff.
sounds like wolf spiders! my house is in a Field virtually and is full of them at certain times of the year i just accept them because they were here before me and will be here after me! if your flat is above ground level you should not have a problem like you describe so have a good clean up and try to discover where the spiders are entering as they would much sooner live outside than in.look for nests under kitchen -sink cupboards etc and clean them away and dont be afraid
