(pictures) What kind of plant is this?

Question:http://pages.suddenlink.net/yakkety/mypl...
This is my sick little plant.

I was told by a friend it lacks iron from our poor quality tap water. (??maybe??)

After a big rain storm (10 days ago) I collected some rain water and it's doing better, but it still needs help.

So what kind of plant is it and what can I do? I have some tea grounds I wanted to try adding to the soil, but I don't know if this kind of plant wants or needs the acids.

Any help...will help!
Thanks, Kim

looks like a spider plant to me...not positive, though (but i had one that strongly resembled your pics)...good luck. (try singing to it...i know, that sounds retarded, but i have had it work before, and i can't sing for ****)

looks like a spider plant , dont repot it , let it get rootbound and it should start to produce babies. dont over water and let it have some sun.
It may be a bromeliad or a draceana. Look on the net for these two and see if the pics match. (pronouced dra-cena) If so, both easy to grow.
sorry i don't know the name for it but i have seen this plant growing in Mediterranean and also in Asia the plant will have white little flowers all on one long stem that will turn in to seeds . and they have very nice scents.your plant looks pale green it should be dark green
