Answers:
We have a pond too that is always green! The best thing is to keep it out of the sun. Plant a big bush or tree to shade it. Also, you can buy 'liquid shade'. It's basically a blue dye that inhibits the growth of algae. You can also buy algae inhibitors; it's a granular powder you pour into the pond. You can also buy snails and other animals that eat algae.

Keep in mind that unless you have a fabulous filter system, you are always going to have algae clouding your water.

All these things you can get at a pet shop like PetCo or PetsMart.

Good luck!

well, there are a few little pond shops around, and maybe they have algea killer or recomend a good place for that.
Get some algae eaters or call your local pool supply repair place and they could probably recommed something that you can put in the water to help prevent algae
Try to refrain from using chemicals. The rule is to cover 75 to 80% of the surface with water plants ( water lilys, water Hyacinth, water lettuce. This will reduce sunlight into your pond reducing heat and algae. It will also add to the appeal of it.
