What item in the kitchen could you not do without?

Question:I would mis the potatoe peeler

Answers:
I know it sounds like a 'given' but I couldn't live without at least one GOOD quality chefs knife. Cheap blunt knives'll kill ya, and every job takes twice as long and works half as well unless you have a good,sharp,well-balanced knife.

Coffee pot
FOOD
Food!
Coffee pot, without it I couldnt find anything.
Mine would have to be the toaster!
Cooker.
Coffee pot or microwave
my wife
Me!
I don't think I could survive without my OXO salad spinner. It's amazing.
1st My coffee maker
2nd mystand mixer
cooker then my garlic press
My Wife if it wasn't for her I would starve http://www.getgoodstuff.net
My good knife.
The refrigerator.
Really good quality knive(s) for prepping food. I have two Global knives and the correct whetstone for keeping the edges really keen. They perform excellently and keep their sharpness for ages. They look good too.
The kettle! I am a real teaohlic!
my dishwasher
The microwave, I like cooking but I find the microwave more versatile than any other item.
a really good frying pan and a good sharp knife
The floor.

I'd hate to walk straight in and fall down to the neighbours flat.
My mug. Must have coffee regularly. If my kettle blows up, I know how to cook water in a saucepan, or in the microwave ,without burning it. If the fridge breaks, I can buy milk by the half pint and use it before it goes sour. I'm not sure, but I think my cooker's already broken!
The wife
definitely the fridge/freezer. thats the point of having a kitchen. for me
I would miss the dishwasher. My wife washes them and if she were gone I'd have to go to paper plates.
provided i have got food and basic knifes, forks, pots and pans. A microwave could manage without the rest
